Gilmer Research Partners
Gilmer’s fund research tools bring ETF information, fund comparisons and flow analysis into the investing workspace. Review holdings, costs, income and performance together, then examine how a fund fits your portfolio. Coverage and access depend on your plan.
Begin with each fund’s investment objective, benchmark and structure. Compare holdings, concentration, expense ratios and liquidity, then review income and performance over matching periods. A similar name or recent return does not establish that two funds provide the same exposure.
Check the holdings date, largest positions and sector exposures. Distinguish a full holdings file from a partial list: incomplete coverage cannot support a complete overlap calculation. Two funds may share securities while assigning them very different weights.
Read expense ratios alongside their fee basis and source. Compare the same observation periods, currency and return basis. Price return and total return are different; distributions, reinvestment assumptions and missing history can change the interpretation.
Fund flows describe money entering or leaving a fund under the stated methodology. They are not the same as trading volume or a change in assets caused by market prices. Check the flow period, currency, coverage and source before comparing funds.
An expense ratio is one cost measure. Investment objective, holdings, liquidity, trading costs, distribution treatment and portfolio fit also matter. No single metric establishes suitability.
ETF Compare is available in the Market Terminal with eligible access. You can explore the public fund overview first, review plan coverage, or open the comparison workspace after signing in.
Market data is delayed. Coverage and availability vary by dataset and plan. Advisor research tool. Not investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation.
